Owl Baby & Dolly Card

Ok, these are by far my favorite Owl Cards yet! I am having so much fun with my new Owl Purse & Cards template, I'm sorry to anyone who doesn't like owls! I will make something else soon, I promise!
I thought these would be so cute to give with a baby shower gift or as the shower invite! It would also make a great new baby announcement. I love the Two-Step Owl Punch baby doll owl she/he is holding and the pins on the diapers! Sometimes I just really amuse myself.

Owl Purse & Cards

This is my Owl Purse with matching owl cards. You can make these into Christmas owls like I have or just use other colors of paper and make them into boy and girl owls! How you decorate them is totally up to you!
You can easily make these for Birthdays (holding a gift), Weddings (Bride and Groom owls), baby showers ( make a diaper or onesie) or any other occasion just by changing the clothes!
I have provided the patterns and directions to make both the purse and cards into Santa and Mrs. Claus or into regular boy and girl owls.

I have made my purse with Santa on one side and Mrs. Claus on the other but you can do it any way you want. The cards I have shown are a Christams Elf and a little girl but again, you can make them into whatever type of owl you want!
4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Cards and envelopes fit into the purse or you can use it as a gift bag! Purse is approximately 6 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 1" and you only need 8 1/2" x 11" paper to make this, no 12" x 12" needed.

*** I am now able to offer my new templates in svg. format so those of you that have the Cricut or other cutting machines will be able to use them! Thanks so much to Danielle R who offered me all the help in figuring this out (and it was her idea for me to do this!).

Decorative Pitcher

Here is the pitcher vase that I decorated for my Mother-in-law (just because she's wonderful!).
I used the Espresso striped grosgrain and the new buttons from the Holiday Mini as well as some twine and the new Decorative Label Punch. I used the Just Believe stamp set for the sentiment.
The pitcher vase is from IKEA and the flowers are from my garden.

Pirate Owls

Here are my Pirate Owls! I love this owl punch. If you don't have it yet, I think you should get it! It is so versatile, you can make any kind of card with it!
I used the Smarty Pants word set for the saying and the new Decorative Label Punch from the Holiday Mini to punch it out. I used the Curly label punch to make the top of the water wavy.

Just Believe Tent Card #2

I know, I know, Christmas already, but I got inspired and had to do it! After saying that the last tent card I made would be a great Christmas card, I got another idea and of course had to try it right away! This saying is so perfect for Christmas, it would go great with the new Santa Claus stamps!
This card is also using the Just Believe stamp set and the circle cutter and I just used the stamp that has the three leaves on it to make the wreath! I used a sponge to go around it and make the inside more solid. I also used the new 1/2" Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon and the new Decorative Label punch from the Holiday mini which will start September 1st.
This is one of the great things about being a Demonstrator because we get to get the products earlier then everyone else! If you want to become a part of my team and get these great products first and for a discount to boot then CLICK HERE and find out more information about joining my team!
To make the border around the Decorative Label punch I just stamped my saying on white card stock and punched it out with the Decorative Label punch. I then taped this to Cherry Cobbler card stock and then just used my scissors to cut the border around it.

To make the corner brackets on this card I used the Curly Label punch and the Photo Corners punch. First I cut the corner of the Curly label Punch out of the card stock.

Then I put it into the large side of the photo corners punch and punched again to get the shape on the right. I layered this over the small photo corner punched out in Always Artichoke.

Just Believe Tent Card

This is my Just Believe Tent Card! Instead of having a card that opens, this has a folded paper in the bottom so you can stand it up on a table and display it. This card really looks good sitting on my table! If you change around the image it would be perfect for Christmas!

Here is how I made it:
I cut an 11" x 5 1/2" piece of white card stock and folded it in half. I drew pencil lines from diagonal corners to find the middle and then using a pencil inside my circle cutter I drew light circles to see what size I wanted to cut out of the center.

I then used my Just Believe flower stamp and stamped it in the corner. Once that was done I cut out the circle that looked like the best size and just cut around the flower image with a craft knife for the parts that went in the middle. Then I used stamps and sponges to finished off the card. To make the red scallop border I just cut a scallop circle using my big shot and the large scallop circle die. I then used my circle cutter to cut out the center circle. I put this over my card and just cut out around the flower so it wouldn't cover it.

To make the tent feature I cut a 3" x 5 1/2" piece of paper and scored it every half inch going in the long direction.

Using Tombow adhesive I glued this onto the bottom inside of the card like shown. This makes the card still fit in the envelope but then you can expand it and sit it on the table.

To make this card I used:
Always Artichoke ink and paper
Cherry Cobbler ink and paper
1/4" Grosgrain Always Artichoke ribbon
Circle Cutter
Just Believe stamp set
Big Shot
Scallop Circle Die and Scallop Circle Die#2
Big Designer Buttons - Deck the Halls colors (Holiday Mini)
Sponges
